Successful Horse Adoptions

These animals have been adopted out and have been truly blessed. Thank you to all of you that have adopted an animal from our rescue. Thank you to those who have went to a shelter or a rescue and also have adopted! You will never know what you have done for that animal, you saved his or her's life, that is for sure:)

ABBEY ~ Beautiful standardbred mare. Thank you to the family who adopted her. She is a wonderful girl and you will not be disappointed.

Diana and Whiskers ~ Wonderful horses. Thank you to the family that adopted these 2, they were very special horses and now have a forever home.

Pride is a wonderful Tennessee Walker and found a great home, some to give him the confidence he needed to build and the trust he needed to find. Thank you for giving him a wonderful home, I feel this adoption was one of those adoptions that found the perfect home for the perfect horse. 2008 adoption

Dusty is a wonderful laid back Quarter horse that had a very kind hearted soul. We found a family to take care of her mentally, physically, and financially. We could have not asked for a better family for Dusty. Thank you for giving her a chance.

~Nona~We got a phone call from a lady who told us this mare was going to slaughter. I did not want this to happen. I gathered my things, truck and trailer and went after her. When we saw this mare, tears came to my eyes. She was skinny, very much under weight, she had sores all over her face from the halter and from it growing into her face and she was scared to death. We took her home and tried everything we could do for her, but we decided to take her health and mental issues to a much more professional level and contacted someone that would be able to help her. Nona was our first rescue, we knew that it was going to take a vast majority of our funds, we were afraid she was going to take more then what we had. She is now doing 100% better and we feel that where she is is so beneficial to her. She is one of the most beautiful horses I have ever seen. She has also grown to be more trusting. We were successful in getting her out of such inhumane conditions and offering her the chance of a lifetime, and we feel we did just that. Thank you God for giving us the knowledge of where to turn when such a horrifying case fell into our hands.

~Luke~When we bought him home he was so nervous and had no clue about predators (humans).  He was scared to death but as little as he was after we had cornitned him, he was ready to go and adventure out with the rest of the horses.  He hung out with the tallest horse we had.  He didn't realize how little he was and just thought he was as tough as could be.  He was 6 months of age, the most training he could get he got.  You were able to halter him, lead him and load him when his day of adoption came. A couple inquired about him, came and saw him and just fell in love with him.  They left the adoption fee with us, and then would go home to think about it.  They contacted me the next day to make arrangements to come and get him that weekend.  I still get updates on Luke and that is the best thing of all, knowing where a part of your life is. He is so spoiled and getting so much love and attention.

~CUPID~ We are happy to say that Cupid has been adopted out by the Clintsman family.  They have children that will get to love on him and give him all the attention he needs.  We can not thank them enough for giving Cupid a retirement home and for loving him for the rest of his life.  Thank you so much.

BIG RED
We are very happy to announce that Big Red has been adopted out.  Elizabeth Meads, Brad and Sara Phillips, of Ohio, took him in and made a wonderful home for him.  We are very happy with his new owners and are confident that he has a happy and wonderful home.  He will be missed as he was a wonderful gelding and was so quiet at the farm you didn't even know he was there.  Thank you so much Liz, Sara and Brad.  We are very thankful and grateful for you and I know Big Red is too!

~Silly, the sorrel girl~
Is an awesome thoroughbred, very nervous of various things. She has gone to a good home now. You can ride her and she has seem to become much more calmer then she was when she first arrived.

CHEROKEE

When she arrived, she was ready to deliver, indeed she did a gorgeous and healthy baby. Below is a picture of her her baby. Thank you for adopting her, we cannot thank the family enough.

This dog was 100% perfect, and would never of dream of putting her down. Very clean dog, not rowdy and loves walks. Has met horses, and kids and did fine. Is house trained and wonderful in the house.
